Help Wiring Trailer Wiring to Silverado that Had Factory 7-Way Cut Off

Question:

This is my second attempt to get the lights on my trailer working for running lights, stop, and turn functions. I have the Pollak seven blade socket on my back bumper. Since the previous owner had cut off the factory seven blade connector on my 02 Chevy Silverado 1500, I got the Pollak seven blade socket with the seven conductors. The puzzle amounts to a mapping of the seven colors of the truck pigtail to the seven wires on the Pollak socket. The truck conductors are as follows, the typical white, black, brown and blue not sure about the blue, but blue doesnt matter for now and the others which are light green, dark green and yellow. I have tried a number of combinations, and in the process found that my truck squawks when I have stuck the wrong wires together. There are other unanticipated results including both turn signals flashing at once when I hit the turn signal. Im guessing my givens are connecting the brown wires, the white wires, the blue wires and the black wires. I could experiment with the remaining wires, which would be yellow to yellow, and one of the greens to the red. That leaves a couple to swap around. If you have some suggestions, let me know. I could use some help. Thanks In

The yellow wire is the left turn and brakes, dark green wire is the right turn and brakes, brown wire is for the taillights, and white is the ground. Often if the loom is cut back, two more wires will be found. The light blue wire provides a lead for a camper shell brake light. The other, a light green wire, is for the reverse lights."
