Best Bike Rack for Rad E-Bikes on the Back of a Motorhome

Question:

We own two Rad E-Bikes. A RadRover 4”tires and RadCity 2” tires. Bike weigh in at about 67 and 65 pounds. Will travel without the battery in place which weigh about 7 lbs. each. Rack will also transition to Jeep Wrangler. Can you tell us what other racks are available for these E-Bikes? Looking for ease of use. Saris has a rack we really liked but only rated to 60 pounds per bike. It is rated for Class C Motorhome. Thank you in advance

Due to how heavy your Rad E-Bikes are, the best option to carry the bikes on the back of your motorhome is the Swagman E-Spec Electric Bike Rack # S94FR.

The reason for this is what you mentioned when talking about the Saris rack - weight capacity. The Hollywood rack has an 70 lb weight capacity and is also rated for use behind a motorhome. It will work with tires up to 3" wide but can work with tires up to 5" wide with the Fat Tire Adapter Kit # S64679.

The E-Spec is also a frame-mounted rack, and when I took a look at some of the Rad E-bikes it did look like there were some RadRover and RadCity bikes that had fenders, which means a frame-mounted rack is a necessity because a wheel-mounted rack wouldn't work with fenders.

I have added a photo a customer sent in of this rack being used with Rad E-bikes as well as links to some video reviews for you to check out of the Swagman E-Spec Electric Bike Rack # S94FR.
