How To Use B&W Companion Hitch for Gooseneck On Ram with Pucks
Question:
I have a companion fifth wheel hitch that I had in my Chevy 2500 with the BandW gooseneck under bed hitch but now I have a Ram 3500 and wanted to use that hitch so do they make an adapter to replace the tube that goes into the gooseneck pin hole for the Chevy to match the Pin hole in the ram since the Ram has the puck system.

In order to use the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3500 or part # BWRVK3400 on a Ram with the factory prep package you will need to obtain a new base that is designed for the pucks, the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram part # BWRVB3600 for fixed or part # BWRVB3670 for slider.
There isn't a replacement pin for the B&W Companion that works with another gooseneck hitch which is why you need a new base.
