Recommended Lock Pin for Trailer Coupler Latch
Question:
Hi, I am looking for a trailer hitch lock similar to your item number e 9888. I want to secure the cover/holding mechanism that fits over the ball on the hitch. Right now there is just a pin that holds it down so it doesnt pop up and release the trailer from the ball. I need 2 1/2 inch length but the diameter of the pin that goes through the mechanism is only 1/4 . Do you have something like the e 9888 with a 1/4inch or less diameter pin? Thanks.

It sounds like you are looking for the etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock part # e98887 which is a pin lock designed to secure the latch mechanism on a trailer coupler. It has a usable span of 2-1/2" and is 1/4" diameter like you said you needed.
