Compatibility of Thule Upride Bike Rack with Yakima JetStream Roof Rack Crossbars

Question:

Im looking at this set of Yakima JetStream bars because the 60inch Thule bars will not fit on my 2012 4Runner Trail the raised rails are too close together for the mounting slots on the 60inch bars. It appears from here and Yakimas site that the longer crossbars WILL work with my 4Runner. However, I already have several Thule UpRide bike carriers. I am curious if the T-Slot mounting brackets on the Thule UpRide will work with the T-slot of the Yakima JetStream bars. Are these things compatible or do you have to stick with the same brand carriers and crossbars?

The dimensions of the T-slot are consistent between Thule, Yakima, Rhino Rack, Inno, Malone and most of the other major players. Your Thule accessories that are designed to mount in the slot or channel in the top of the crossbar will indeed be compatible with the Yakima 60 inch # Y00426 crossbars. Yakima confirms that the 60 inch crossbar along with the # Y33TR TimberLine towers will indeed work on your 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail.
