Installing Prodigy P2 in 2016 Thor ACE Built on Ford F-53 Chassis
Question:
Im trying to install a Tekonsha Prodigy 2 in a 2016 Thor ACE built on an F53 chassis. I have 4 wires connected to the stoplight switch. One is constant power, one is constant ground. The other two are hotfoot when the footpedal is depressed but go to ground when its released. The Tekonsha instructions tell me that connecting a wire that goes to ground will burn out the unit, so I am unclear as to how I should proceed. Also, Im in an area with lousy wifi/cell phone service, so its hard to call someone. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Since your Thor Ace is built on a 2016 F-53 chassis there is a much easier option for installing a Prodigy P2 # 90885 with the install harness # 3034-P which connects to a port you have under your dash currently.
If you prefer to hardwire still though you can cut off the connector in the picture and test the wires there and all of the correct circuits will be easily accessible.
