Troubleshooting No Power on Red Wire of Curt Trailer Wiring for 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL
Question:
Hi, I installed the wiring per the instructions without success. My circuit tester did not show any connection in the red plastic connector between the fuse and the battery. Do you think the piece is faulty or the connection...? Thanks

If the red wire of the # C56407 that fits your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited does not have power on it that would indicate most likely that it's not connected to the battery properly, the fuse isn't installed/has blown, or maybe there's a problem with the wire. I'd be shocked though if the problem is the wire as that's basically unheard of. If you have a circuit tester with a probe like # PTW2993 test the wire before and after the fuse as that will narrow down where the problem might be.
