Lockable Spare Carrier that Can Attach to Roof Rack Cargo Basket

Question:

I have a 2017 Rav4 XLE Hybrid. I put a lift kit on it so that I could increase the tire size to a 245/65/17 tire that is 9.6 inches wide and 29.5 inches tall. I bought 5 tires and an extra replica 17inch x 7inch wide wheel from Carid I want to lock this spare down to a roof basket but need to make sure that any U-bolt type tie down is long enough to make it through the 9.6inch tire and 7 inch wide stock replica toyota wheel. What would you recommend. I prefer a lock over the lug nut e.g. Item # FSTL0603 rather than this style=Item # CE27202, but will listen to what you have to recommend.

If you had a Yakima roof cargo basket we have the Yakima Spare Tire Carrier for Yakima Roof Cargo Baskets # Y07076 which would work great to carry a larger wheel/tire like you have. This lockable as well with a pad lock that has a 1/4 inch diameter shackle like # 141T. For a basket the LoadWarrior part # Y07070 would be a great option as well.

The U-bolt wheel locks need to attach to something more substantial than a roof basket as they were intended to attach to a trailer's frame.
