Cab and Chassis Vehicles and Foot-Tab Measurement 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
What does it mean,Will not fit on Cab & Chasssis vehicles and Measures outside of foot-tab measurements. I have a 2004,Ford F350, 4 Dr., 8 ft. bed. Thank You in advance

The Cab and Chassis model is the line of pickups designed for aftermarket beds such as dumps and flatbeds. Ford builds these with different frame dimensions and the aftermarket bed will effect the installation of a fifth wheel hitch. The foot-tab measurement is the measurement between the mounting holes (front to back) where the feet of the fifth wheel set in the mounting rails, once the rails are installed. Your 2004 Ford F-350, with a standard 8 foot bed, will use the RP50082-58 Custom Installation Kit. I have posted a link to the instructions below.
