Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2012 Honda Fit

Best rack for my Honda Fit local travel. On long distance travel destinations I can get two bikes inside my Honda Fit with out any trouble.

My top recommendation for a trunk mount bike rack is the Thule OutWay, # TH45JV, that you have referenced. This bike rack is quick and easy to install because it uses only 2 retractable cables rather than 6 straps to mount to the vehicle.

This rack can also be locked on one side to deter theft of the rack and it has a cable lock in the last bike position to deter bike theft. I have included some links on this rack for you.

If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video showing how the adapter works.
