Does 12 Inch Kodiak Disc Brake Kit Require 5-Bolt Brake Mounting Flange

Question:

I have a tandem torsion axle MagicTilt trailer that i would like to install these brakes on one axle. It has 15 inch wheels and a 6-lug hub. The GAWR for each axle is 5,080#s. The brake flange is a 4-hole configuration. I noticed that the caliper mounting bracket for these brakes have numerous holes for mounting. I realize that this bracket is normally attached to a 5-hole brake flange but was wondering if it would also fit a 4-hole brake flange.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 12" Rotor - 6 on 5-1/2 - Stainless Steel - 5,200 lbs to 6,000 lbs # K2R526S does require a 5-bolt brake mounting flange to work. You mentioned you have all the other requirements but that one, so the best option to use these brakes is to get a new 5-bolt flange welded on. I looked through each of our assemblies and there are none with similar mounting that attach to a 4-bolt flange. I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
