Replacement Arms for 1424-1 Base Plates on 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
Question:
I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara I would like to flat tow. The jeep came with the base plate 1424-1 installed and the 4 pin wiring already installed. It did not come with the arms. I purchased the Falcon All Terrain non binding towbar from a 3rd party. What do I need to complete this setup?

First let's start with the arms, and to get replacement arms for your 1424-1 you will need the Roadmaster Replacement Arms for Base Plate Kits # RM-ARMS.
Since you already have a tow bar and tow bar wiring there are just a few other parts you need:
- Safety Chains: Roadmaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
- Supplemental Braking System: Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700
- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
You may also need a high-low adapter like part # RM-048-6 in order to keep your 2000 Wrangler level, and I've added a link to a help article which shows you how to determine if you need an adapter, as well as a link to our selection of adapters. Additionally, I have added links to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.
