A template is not included with the # CB-15AK nor is one needed to complete the install. Here's the install instructions though:
First disconnect the battery. Next, determine where you want to position each light on the roof of the truck. Then, remove the lens from the base on each light. Use the included gasket as a template to mark the center of the two largest holes for the mounting screws and the third center hole for the wiring.
In the vehicle, loosen the headliner for easier access. On the roof, drill holes that were previously marked. After the holes have been drilled, run the black wire for each light through the gasket center hole, attach the bases to the lights, and re-attach the lenses. The lights will ground through the mounting hardware to complete the circuit.
Connect the black wire from each light to the included red wire included in the kit using the connectors provided in the kit before re-installing the headliner. If you would like for the lights to turn on and off with the headlights, connect the red wire directly to the headlight circuit.
If you want the lights to work independently, you will need to use the included switch. Mount the switch plate on the dash within easy reach. Do not fully insert the switch until all installation steps are complete. Feed all the wiring through the opening in the switch plate. Connect the red wire to the center switch terminal. Connect the red wire with the 5 amp fuse to the switch terminal marked with a plus sign or 1. Connect the other end to the positive battery terminal.
Connect the black wire to the remaining terminal on the switch. Connect the other end to a clean, corrosion free bare metal surface. You can now insert the switch into the plate. After either wiring method, the last step is to reconnect the battery.
