What PSI Should Trailer Tires for Travel Trailer be At When Traveling

Question:

How close to the recommended pressure of 65 PSI do I need to fill the tires, they were nitrogen filled from the factory. Plan on taking a trip from Florida to Arizona this Spring and want to avoid any issues if at all possible.

With trailer tires you need to inflate them to the max psi listed on their sidewall when they are "cold" to ensure you get the full weight capacity of the tire and you prevent heat build up which typically causes failure. So check the pressure in the tires first thing in the morning and make sure it's at the max 65 psi number and then you'd be good.
