There are a few components needed to safely flat tow you 2013 Fiesta. The first as you mentioned is the base plate like the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit part # DM9518285 which connects to the frame of your Fiesta and acts as the connection point for the tow bar.

For the tow bar I recommend the Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar part # DM9511012 this is an easy to use non binding tow bar that has plenty of capacity for your Fiesta. This tow bar also included the safety cables that you need to connect to the Fiesta and your coach in case of a failure.

The next thing is tow bar wiring and using the Roadmaster Diode part # RM-15267 is a great option as an all in one kit. This has the diodes you'll need to prevent any back feed between your car and the coach. I like this one so much because it also included the 6 round plug for the front of your Fiesta and the cable you will need to connect from your coach's 7-way plug to the 6 round plug.

Braking systems are required as well not only do these help in the stopping of your coach during normal use but in the case of an accidental disconnection they will apply the brakes on your Fiesta to bring it to a safe stop.

For an option you will install once and it is always ready I prefer the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 for a coach that has standard hydraulic brakes or the Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes part # SM99243 for coaches with air brakes.

For an option that is removable and requires setup each time you want to use it the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is the way to go. It has a fairly easy to use clamp for the pedal and the biggest thing in my mind is that it attaches to the firewall as well preventing accidental movement we sometime see with these systems. To use this you will need a 12 Volt outlet kit like the 20 amp Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332 to keep the 12 volt power going to it.

For a vehicle as low as he Fiesta you will likely need a high low adapter to keep withing the safe operating range I have linked the page below as well as a guide on how to choose the right one.

For an automatic transmission Fiesta you will need to disconnect the battery you can pull the battery cable off of the battery terminal each time or install a Battery Disconnect like part # RM-766 .Because of this you will also need to install a Stop Light Switch like part number RM-751450.

I've linked the products and the videos on them below please let me know if you have any further questions!
