Can Timbren SES be Used for Towing a Car Hauler with a 2012 Ram 1500
Question:
I have a 2012 ram crew 1550 5.7inch box and tow a race car trailer 24 foot v nose 2400 lb car rather than using a short arm weight distributing bars, will those springs level me off versus the bars?

While the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System (SES) # TDRTT1500 will help to level out the ride while towing with your 2012 Ram 1500, it won't act in the same manner as a weight distribution (WD) system. The reason is because the SES simply pushes everything into place while a WD system actually distributes the loaded tongue weight between all of the axles in the towing setup so there is less strain on your vehicle.
If you don't have enough room for a WD system then the Timbren SES will definitely be a benefit, but if a short-arm WD system like the Curt # C17422 will actually fit (it needs about 30-5/8" from the center of the hitch ball) then you will see more benefit in the longevity of your Ram suspension using this.
If you can let me know what the total weight of your trailer will be with the car loaded I can make a recommendation for a Curt WD system as the specific size is dependent on your trailer weight.
I've also attached an installation video of the Timbren SES on a 2013 Ram 1500 that you can check out.
