The Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation Kit # 6300-4446 will fit your 2016 Ram 1500 as long as it does not have the Air Suspension, is a Crew Cab, or have the EcoDiesel engine.
If any of that applies to your pickup then I recommend using the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1309 instead. This kit allows you to simply turn the gooseneck hitch ball upside down when you aren't using it so that it stores right inside your truck bed and is easily accessible when you need to tow.
