Will the Thule OutWay or Gateway Bike Racks Fit on a 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Factory Spoiler

Good afternoon - I have a 2008 Chevrolet Impala with a factory installed rear spolier. Will the Thule Gateway or Thule OutWay th56bv fit my vehicle? Thanks

You should have no problem using the OutWay, # TH56BV, or the Gateway, # TH78VR, bike racks on your 2008 Chevrolet Impala with factory spoiler. It can sometimes be difficult to determine if a trunk mounted bike rack will fit on a vehicle with a factory spoiler as manufacturers do not test fit their bike racks on vehicle with spoilers, however, we have tested the OutWay bike rack on an Impala with a factory spoiler here at our facility and it is a fit. Thule confirms the Gateway is a fit as well.

If you plan on carrying and women's, children's or alternative bike frames, then you may also want to pick up the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. Some small or angled bike frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and this adapter will allow you to load the bikes easily and safely.
