Will the Lockrack Adjustable Watersport Carrier Fit a Native Watercraft Ultimate 16 Kayak

Hi, will this carrier work with a Native Watercraft Ultimate 16 on a 2020 Subaru Forester with raised rails? If so, what compatible rack would I need for the raised rails, and what length bars? What rack would you recommend with this carrier? Thanks,

While we can't confirm the individual fit of specific boats and water carriers, the Lockrack Adjustable Watersport Carrier # 339-LRUNISETX will fit boats up to 175-lbs and 47-1/2" wide. As long as your Native Watercraft Ultimate 16 is not larger than that, the Lockrack will be a great solution for you to carry your boat. This carrier will mount with clamps around the crossbars of your vehicle or in the T-slots of aftermarket crossbars.

When it comes to adding a roof rack, you can use the Malone # MPG216 that was mentioned in a previous answer, which is a more pocketbook friendly choice that . I would personally recommend using a heavy duty roof rack kit like the RhinoRack for 2020 Subaru Forester, which uses parts # RRVA126S-2 # RRSX100. I prefer the RhinoRack because its' quality is comparable to the Thule and Yakima racks, at a much more pocketbook friendly price. RhinoRack roof racks are durable and the aerodynamic bars will help reduce wind noise. I do recommend upgrading from the plastic locks that come standard with the Locking End Caps for Vortex Aero Bars with Metal Cores # RRVA-LEC4.
