Correct SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for a 2018 Flagstaff V-Lite FLT26VFKS
Question:
When parked in our barn, leveled on a concrete floor, our Flagstaff V-Lite FLT26VFKS is exactly 36” from the concrete floor to the top of the threshold on the front door. It currently has 3 fold down steps. Door is 28 1/2” wide. I’ve seen specs for the Lippert steps that say max height is 36” up to 37 5/8”, depending on the website. Can you tell me which steps we need please....3 or 4? We’d like shorter if possible because of added weight and ease to fold up and down into the door.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The correct SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for a 2018 Flagstaff V-Lite FLT26VFKS is part # LC791572 which works with an entry height of 27" - 36" so although you will be at the end of the range they will still work just fine. If you need help raising and lowering the steps there is an additional device you can add, the SolidStep Lift Assist Kit part # LC733937 which is designed for this exact purpose.
