Installing Curt C51180 Brake Controller On 2019 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
I have a 2019 Honda Ridgeline with a factory installed tow package 7 prong plug and it has a 20 amp fuse in the fuse box. I bought a Curt Echo controller that requires a 30 amp fuse. Will this controller operate on the 20 amp fuse? If not what do I need to make it work?

According to the Engineering folks at Curt, trailer brakes can draw as much as 6A per axle. If you have a tandem axle trailer, the 20 amp circuit should be sufficient to fire up the # C51180 Echo.
