Does Install of Hitch on 2007 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Require Drilling

I am trying to determine if adding the hitch Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch Item # 24679 requires any drilling at all or if it can be attached as is.

The install of the Draw Tite hitch part # 24679 that you referenced on your 2007 Volkswagen Beetle does require drilling as do all of the hitches we offer that fit your vehicle. The holes drilled will be through the trunk pan where the spare tire normally is stored.
