Does Tekonsha Trailer Wiring for 2019 Ford Flex Have Capacity to Power LED Trailer Wiring

Question:

I have a 2019 Ford Flex with dual exhaust. Am installing a DrawTite 75679. I would like to use the Tkonsha #118472 for the wiring. The flex tail lites have led bulbs and the trailer has led bulbs also. Will the factory Ford wiring handle the load with out blowing fuses? I have seen reports of the older Flexs with the old bulbs and a trailer with the old bulbs having alot of trouble.........!

Yes, the taillight circuits of your 2019 Ford Flex will handle the amperage draw of the trailer LED taillights you have after you install the # 118472. We do have the Curt version part # C56343 which actually draws power for the trailer taillights from the vehicle battery as an option as well. If your trailer had incandescent bulbs or you wanted to be extra cautious in general this would be the way to go.
