2 inch Hitch Recommendation for 2001 Ford Ranger

Question:

I recently acquired this truck and the guy said he used to tow his bass boat with it with no problems using the stock bumper mounted ball. I would rather use a 2inch receiver so that could use my try ball hitch so i dont have to change balls every time i use a different size. Can I use a step bumper mounted receiver hitch for this particular model truck?

We have great frame mounted trailer hitches for your 2001 Ford Ranger like the Draw Tite part # 75082 which provide a 2 inch hitch like you mentioned but we don't have any custom fit bumper mounted hitch fits for your truck so that would not be the route I would recommend.
