For truck beds that are shorter than 6 feet like on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5-3/4 foot bed you have two options for towing a fifth wheel trailer and preventing truck cab to trailer nose interference. You can use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch part # DM8550040 as it's only slider hitch that moves back 22-1/2 inches to give you clearance with the install kit part # DM8552034-71 or you could go with a fixed hitch like the # RP30047 and rail kit # RP56015-53 and a Sidewinder pin box replacement which also gives you the clearance needed. Most standard slider hitches only give about half the clearance needed.
Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.
There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.
Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
