It is not uncommon at all for trailer manufacturers to use any color wire they have around the shop it isn't the end of the world though!! To get this installed properly you can simply use a 12V power source to test your wires assuming all of your bulbs are in good shape. If you use a battery you can simply test them for function by providing power to each one individually. I will assume that white is ground but it may not be t test this touch the white to the negative side of your 12V source and touch the brown to positive. If lights come on both sides great running lights if only one side comes on it's the turn/brake signal for that side if nothing comes on white isn't ground. Once you have figured out your ground wire which is the one on negative that activates all the other functions just touch each wire to the positive side while your ground is on negative. Let's say you touch white to negative and red to positive and the left light comes on red will be your left turn and brake you then touch brown to positive and the right side comes on that's your right side turn/brake leaving black to be your running lights. Sorry this is wordy but it is a process of elimination that you will be able to figure out easily.
Once you know what everything is connect them according to the 7-pole diagram linked below that states standard type this will match your vehicles 7 -pole.
