Does Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Have Friction Coating

Question:

I have the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW hitch and after 3 years the friction coating on the L bars have worn off. Is there a spray paint to refresh this? Now its metal to metal. Thanks a lot

The Fastway systems, such as your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-0800 does not actually have any type of friction coating like some other systems. It is purely steel-on-steel aside from the initial paint. There isn't a spray paint or any type of paint that is going to refresh the system, as the metal-on-metal is perfectly normal. It may look different, but the system itself is going to perform exactly the same as before.

If there is a lot of noise be sure to use the Equal-i-zer High-Performance Lubricant # EQ91-00-4250 as indicated in the system's linked manual.
