Diameter of Trim for the Valterra Deadbolt Lock
Question:
Can you tell me the outside diameter of the inside and outside trim rings ? I have a 2 inch hole to cover in the door. The original one was a square in shape. For a 2000 Rexhall Class A motorhome. Rexhall went out of business 10 years ago. Thanks in advance

The trim pieces (also called an escutcheon) for the Valterra Deadbolt Lock # L32CS3008 have a 2-1/2" diameter. If you have a 2" square hole in the door then this is going to be a pretty snug fit and the corners of the square might be visible still (very slightly). I recommend tracing out a 2-1/2" diameter hole on a piece of paper and holding it over your current cutout to compare, this way you know if you need to look for something larger or not.
If you need something larger I recommend checking out your local home improvement store as anything else we have will have the same dimensions unless you were to use a square door handle/latch kit like part # 295-000019.
