How Many Snowboards Can I Fit in the Thule Motion XT Alpine

Hello, Id like to fit a maximum of four snowboards with bindings still attached. The box I am considering is the Thule Motion XT Alpine. I am pretty confident that my boards will fit length-wise, but am curious about the height and width. My thoughts are that I could either stack the boards flat next to each other in 2x2 config base-to-base if the boards fit width-wise, or store them at a slight angle if the width is too tight. Have you or any other customers had experience with this? Ill need to go home and measure for a better idea, but Im hoping that you could offer some insight. Thanks!

The Thule Motion XT Alpine # TH629506 is designed to carry between 3-5 snowboards, so the odds that you'll be able to fit 4 are pretty good; but this is obviously going to depend on the size of the boards and bindings. The internal dimensions on this box are 84-1/2" long x 33" wide x 11-1/4" tall, so as long as you don't have any extremely long boards this box should be able to handle 4 boards without issue. In the configuration you're mentioning you'll need to make sure that your bindings are folded down completely.

The Thule Motion XT Alpine opens on either side of your vehicle so that any of your passengers can access the box and the SlideLock system with One-Key System locks ensures your cargo is secure. Additionally, since it uses the Thule One-Key system, if you have other Thule products you can swap their lock cores to make them all keyed alike.
