Could Magnetic Switch of RV Steps be Replaced by Standard Switch
Question:
Can a On/Off toggle switch be wired to extend my step instead of using the magnetic switch? Thank-you.

Yes, you could use a physical switch instead of the magnetic switch on your RV steps. Basically the magnetic switches operate in the same way as a standard switch so you'd just need to cut the magnets off of the circuits and then run them to a switch like the # D16740 which will perform the same function.
