What Pin to Use of 7-Way to Run Charge Wire from Trailer Wiring to Camper Battery
Question:
Hi, In my case the battery is in my truck camper. So if I understand correctly, I would connect the black 11 oclock wire from the 7-pin trailer plug to the positive terminal of my camper battery. Next, I need to ground the negative camper battery terminal. Would I connect it to a clean metal surface on the camper itself? note, the camper is aluminum build, but resting in a composite truck bed. Or would I run the negative terminal to a clean metal spot on my truck frame?

You do need to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) from the positive pin of the battery to the 11:00 pin of a male 7-way but you do not need to ground the battery for it to accept the charge.
