Can the Pin Box Be Replaced To Lower the Nose of a Trailer
Question:
Does anyone make a lower profile pin box? factory pin box is in highest setting holes. i have 9.5inch between back of bed and 5th wheel. Factory pin box has pretty steep angle. can factory be replace with a more level flat pin box that will lower the front of the 5th wheel down?

In order to lower the nose of a trailer you have a few options like lowering the hitch/pin box but replacing the pin box is not one of them because the pin boxes that will fit your trailer's wings are all going to have roughly the same dimensions so there would be no value in replacing the pin box for this reason alone.
Therefore, you can either get a new fifth wheel hitch or lower the tow vehicle. I recommend a new fifth wheel hitch as lowering the vehicle is typically much more involved and can create other issues. The best option we have for a new fifth wheel hitch is the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30051 which can be adjusted down to 15" (including rail height) or the Reese 20K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30083 which can be adjusted down to 14".
I know this is probably the last thing you want to do but it's really the only thing going to allow your specific truck and trailer combo to tow level.
