First, you will want to check the towing capacities of the truck by consulting the owners manual to make sure the vehicle can tow the trailer. Next, because you have a 5-1/2 foot bed, you will have to use a Sidewinder, see link, instead of a sliding hitch like the # RP30051.
The Sidewinder is necessary because it moves the pivot point of the trailer back 22 inches giving you more clearance between truck cab and trailer overhang. Only certain trailer pin boxes can accept a Sidewinder. You will need to know the pin box make and model number, usually found on the pin box itself, then use the Sidewinder FAQ to determine if there is a fit.
You can then use a fixed 5th wheel hitch, because a slider cannot be slid back while using a Sidewinder. For the weight you want to tow, a 16K hitch, like # RP30047, will work. For an installation kit, use # RP50081-58. You'll also need the Wedge # SWW-03 for this to work with the Sidewinder.
