Crossbar Spread Needed to Mount Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box
Question:
On my 2018 Chevy Traverse, Jon G. said The Force XT will fit your 2018 Traverse if your OEM crossbars have a crossbar spread between 23-5/8 inch to 35-1/2 inch and from the front crossbar to where the line where the roof and hatch meet is at least 54-3/4. If this is the case the the XT will fit and allow you to fully open the rear hatch on your Traverse. Question: Since the front crossbar should be at least 54-3/4 inch from the the line where the roof and hatch meet, then how far apart should the two crossbars be, i.e. how far should the rear crossbar be from the front crossbar to properly support the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The crossbar spread - or how far apart the rear crossbar and front crossbar should be - required to mount the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B is anywhere between 23-5/8 inches and 37-1/2 inches.
So as long as your crossbars are spread out anywhere in between that range the Force XT will fit your 2018 Chevy Traverse.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B.
