Trailer Wiring Harness for 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Question:

I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee limited and already have a tow hitch but no wire harness. Does my car come with a quick connect adaptor for the harness or do I need to run the harness from my rear lights and battery?

If your 2014 Cherokee didn't come from the factory with a 7-way trailer connector, you'd need to use the # 118605. The # 118605 T-One Connector plugs inline with the connection between the vehicle's factory wiring harnesses and the taillight assemblies. A power wire will need to be ran to the battery. I've linked you to an installation video showing the wiring harness being installed on a 2014 Cherokee.

The # 118376 you'd looked at is a fit for a 2001-2003 Caravan/Grand Caravan/Town & Country/Voyager minivan and wouldn't be a fit for your Cherokee.
