Propane Splitter to Connect Grill and Heater at Once
Question:
do you have an all brass y connector? the one i was using for winter camping had a plastic quick connect handle which cracked when I tried to change the tank in extreme cold. it connects a grill and a heater to one 20lb tank

What you're looking for is a splitter. Also, I'm assuming your grill and your heater connect to a standard Type 1 fitting that commonly has the big plastic ACME nut that goes onto a portable tank like you have.
If I'm right then I think we have exactly what you're looking for. Part # MBS54FR is a splitter with the Type 1 connectors for the grill and heater. The supply end that fits into the tank is a POL connection that has a brass handwheel not the plastic nut. As long as your 20 pound tank has threads on the inside (many have threads inside and out of the connection) then this will work for you.
