What are the Best Rear Sumo Springs for my 2016 Ford F-250?

Question:

I have a 2020 F250 4wd. Im looking at Sumo helper springs. I see they are 2 different weight capabilities. 1500 lbs and 2800 lbs. How do I know which ones I need to get? I'm looking to reduce squat when towing our travel trailer.

For your 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty there are two SumoSprings options that fit your truck like you mentioned. There's the 2,800 lb kit part # SSR-127-54 and the 1,500 lb kit part # SSR-127-47.

Basically you want to go with the lightest duty kit that will work for your application. Going heavier than you need will give you a harsher ride quality than you'll want loaded and unloaded. You didn't mention the pin or tongue weight of your trailer, but unless you are at the max capacity of around 3000-4300 lbs for your truck I would recommend going with the lighter duty. The Sumos Springs aren't nearly as harsh as what Timbrens are so you won't be sacrificing a lot in ride quality but wanted to let you know. Keep in mind these do not increase the safe load handling capabilities of you're F-250 they simply take the stress and strain off of your vehicles suspension system.
