Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Turn Signals of 2015 Ram 1500

Question:

I have no parking lights on the truck side of my 2015 Ram Big Horn 1500. All the fuses look to be good I checked they all seem to work I replaced the combination for in 7 pin connector on the bumper and still have no parking lights. Any suggestions would be very helpful thank you

In the Dodge trucks the TIPM acts as the fuse for the trailer wiring circuits. The only way to fix your situation would be to take your truck to a dealer and have them reset your TIPM. You should note that they will only reset your TIPM 5 times before it has to be replaced, and its very expensive to replace.

The best way around the TIPM is to bypass it all together with the trailer wiring. For that you can use the wiring harness part # 119178KIT for a 4-way, and then for converting the 4-way to a 7-way you would want to use part # 37185 for if you don't have a brake controller and part # ETBC7 for if you do.
