Roof Rack Recommendation for 2011 Ford Flex to Carry Yakima ShowDown Assisted Kayak Carrier

Hi. 2011 Ford Flex with a naked roof. Only transporting a SUP. The Flex has the 4 glass/moon roof panels front one is a sunroof. Can I use this lift system and if so, what rail/crossbar system would you recommend for for Flex and the lift. Much appreciated!

For your 2011 Ford Flex with a naked roof Yakima does offer a roof rack solution that fits your vehicle that will allow you to use the Yakima Showdown part # Y04081 that you referenced. For that you'd need the part numbers # Y00422, # Y53TR, and # Y00233 and you'd be set. This is a custom fit rack that gives you aero shaped bars that will work great with the Showdown.
