What is the Maximum and Minimum Length of Camper Tie Down hardware Package # TDHP
Question:
I am curious as to what the minimum and maximum length to these would be? Also, are they spring loaded or do they offer any protection to camper anchors? Thanks.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a tie down hardware package, # TDHP, to take some measurements. With the hooks on the turnbuckle portion out from the inside of 1 hook to the inside of the other hook is 12 inches. When you attach a chain and an S hook, from the inside of a hook to the inside of the S hook measures 19-3/4 inches.
The minimum length between the hooks when they are all the way in is 7-5/8 inches. I have included a picture that shows the measurements for you.
The hardware is just steel and will not offer anything in the way of scratch protection for the camper anchors.
