Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1993 Chevy C/K Series Crew Cab Dually 4x4 with Roll Pan Bumper

Question:

Do you have any measurements? I have a 1993 chevy crew cab dually 4x4 with the 8ft bed and a roll pan in place of my bumper so I need the 6in from the frame to clear the roll pan.

We actually have a few hitches that are specifically designed to fit models that have the roll pan bumper, but # 41528 is not one of them so it will not fit. However, all of the hitches for roll pan bumper models do require that the bumper be cut in the license plate area for the receiver. A model with a drop to go beneath the bumper is not available.

A hitch designed for models that do not have a roll pan bumper, like # 41528, will not be able to install because the roll pan bumper where it fastens to the frame interferes with the side brackets of the hitch.

I spoke with my contacts at Draw-Tite and based on how your truck is equipped, the best hitch for the truck would be # 75099. Again there is some trimming of the roll pan required. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit, # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring use # 118315, instructions linked.
