Heat Shield Modification for Trailer Hitch Installation on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Hello, Are there any measurements available for modifying a heat shield to fit around a curt hitch. please advise. Thank You!

The heat shield should not have to be trimmed with the Curt hitch. You may need to elongate a mounting slot on the heat shield at most. For a Draw-Tite or Hidden Hitch trailer hitch, heat shield modification is needed and I have included a link to a picture that shows what needs to be trimmed.
If you are talking about the appearance panel, the trimming dimensions for models of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata that have the underbody panel are in the instructions which I have linked for you. I have also included a picture that shows the area that needs to be trimmed.
