Front Mount Hitch #65005 fit on 1997 Silverado Z71 4wd
Question:
I have a 1997 Silverado, Z71 4wd short bed, extended cab. Will this fit on the front? Thanks

The Draw-Tite Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 65005 will fit your 1997 Silverado as long as it's a 1/2 ton model with the 6 lug wheels. It will not fit the 2500 and 3500 models with the 8 lug wheels. You will most likely have to remove the fascia to install the hitch. After it's installed, the fascia can be trimmed to allow the receiver to pass through it, and re-installed.
