Recommended Tow Bar Wiring for 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I've been using a magnetic light setup when flat towing our 2020 Jeep Wrangler but I want to switch to a full wiring kit so that the vehicles lights work in conjunction with the RV's lights. What do you recommend? I have all of the other components.

We have just what you're looking for! I recommend using the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267, which will wire your 2020 Jeep Wrangler as a combined wiring system and because it has a spot for you to run a charge line if needed. If your vehicle has separate wires for the turn and brake signals and you want those signals to function independent of each other, you'll want to add a wired converter # 118158 and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 to complete your wiring as a 3 wire system.

If you are also using a supplemental braking system, which is required by law in most locales, you'll also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490. This kit will notify you in the coach when your Jeep's brakes are applied.
