What Type of Hitch Bike Rack Would be Easiest for Reverse Camera to See Through

Question:

Ive bought the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch for my Mazda hatchback. Now, the rack. We have two standard road bikes. The Thule Doubletrack Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack, # TH990XT, is in my price range and seems to fit the bill. It would be great to avoid a center pole rear parking camera and while the Thule has one, it seems fairly skinny and set back aways. A hanging rack is probably out - close to the car, and wide - and dont want a trunk mount. It seems the Thule has the locking, stabilizing and hitch switch advantages over the Swagman Chinook and Kuat Transfer 2 - although the Kuats ratcheting hooks wouldnt block the camera. Obviously, two bikes would block some of the view. Thoughts?

For all the things you are looking for the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT # TH92BJ is a really great choice as the center post of the rack is pretty narrow which would allow great visibility through it. The only type of rack that might have better visibility would be one that uses wheel hooks instead of a center post like the Thule T2 part # TH9045 but this style is typically quite a bit more expensive.

I attached a picture of either rack with a bike loaded to show the difference in visibility as well as review videos for both too.
