Weight Capacity of Curt 5th Wheel Rails with 26K Hitch
Question:
What is the weight towing capacity of these rails? Will they pull 26k?

Expert Reply:
There isn't a specific weight rating associated with any of our industry standard 10-bolt 5th wheel rails, like the ones included with # C16420-204. According to Curt, these rails are designed to handle the weight of any 5th wheel trailer hitch that fits them. Therefore, using them with a 26K hitch is perfectly safe.
The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit C16420-204 is confirmed to fit your 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 as well. It is recommended to use the same brand rails and brackets, but you are free to use any brand of 5th wheel hitch that will mount to industry standard rails.
