Which Fastway Weight Distribution System Should be Used with Tongue Weight of 430 lbs on Camper

Expert Reply:
The tongue weight range of the Fastway e2 weight distribution system # FA94-00-0600 that you referenced is 400 to 600 lbs. 430 lbs of tongue weight does fall into this range but you also have to consider what the trailer tongue weight will be when the trailer is fully loaded as well as the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle as that counts as tongue weight as well. If that figure still ends up being 400-600 lbs this system will work great.
If you end up with more tongue weight than 600 lbs the next highest rated system is the part # FA94-00-0800 which has a tongue weight range of 600-800 lbs.
