For a hitch for your 2009 Nissan Frontier I would recommend you get a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75282. This hitch will install onto the frame of your vehicle which will provide a much stronger attachment point then what the Curt Hitch # E-3S, which you may not need for your 16-1/2 foot boat, but in the future if you ever wanted to pull something heavier.
You will need to know your vehicles towing capacities (listed in the owners manual) and the weight of your trailer to know if your vehicle is capable of towing your boat. Either hitch should have plenty of towing capacity, but the bumper mounted # E-3S will install in a location that is much weaker than the frame of your vehicle like the # 75282 would.
