Yes, the factory hitch of your 2007 Dodge Ram can be used with a weight distribution systems like the Blue Ox part # BXW0750 that you referenced.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.

The # BXW0750 that you referenced has a tongue weight range of between 550 and 750 lbs so with this system you'd ideally have a loaded tongue weight of 650 lbs.

Your tongue weight is a little light relative to your total trailer weight. This may cause sway or porpoising so if at all possible move some cargo weight forward in the trailer so you can get the tongue weight to be around 600-700 lbs. Once you accomplish that the Reese Trunnion system part # RP66541 would be a really great option. It uses trunnion bars which are better for ground clearance and has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs which would work great for you. For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.

Tongue weight is most commonly 10 percent of total trailer weight and sometimes up to 15 percent. Within this range you'll have a safe towing experience without sway. So a trailer that weighs around 6,160 lbs would be ideal if the tongue weight was between 616 lbs to 924 lbs like you mentioned.
