Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for Smooth Ride with 2017 Ford F-250 and Reese Revolution Pin Box
Question:
Looking for a hitch that will offer the best cushioning for my 5th wheel which is equipped with the Reese Revolution pinbox. I had heard this A20 is one of the better choices. Are there any others and will I need a custom wedge kit for this hitch. TV= 2017 f250 with ISR Thank You

The Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch # C16140 that you referenced is actually the exact hitch I recommend for providing the smoothest ride with the Reese Revolution pin box on your new trailer. This ride comfort starts at the A20's interlocking 2-jaw system that will completely wrap around the king pin. This not only creates an extremely secure connection with the trailer, but it also drastically reduces movement at this attachment point and allows for a really quiet ride.
In addition to the jaw design, the A20 also features a fully articulating torsion head that further contributes to ride quality. It's going to suppress road shock for a nice cushioned ride and increase stability during travel so you can worry less about maintaining a death grip on the steering wheel and more on the fun adventures ahead.
The A20 has a 20,000 pound towing weight capacity and also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It is completely compatible with the Reese Revolution as long as you add the Custom Wedge # C16992.
It sounds like you might already have the base rails installed in the bed, but just in case you don't the Custom 5th Wheel Install Kit # BWRVK2402 will work perfectly on your Ford F-250. I have attached a couple short video reviews below that you can check out as well.
If you don't have one already I also recommend adding a 5th Wheel Wiring Harness like the Curt # C57008, which will plug in-line with the factory 7-Way on y our F-250 to provide you with a second 7-Way connector in the truck bed for easy hookup with the trailer.
